Jessica Di Giulio is the new Vice President of Business Development at Moran Shipping Agencies, Inc. She joined the maritime community at the early age of 16, sailing as a cadet on the Tall Ship Sloop Providence, in Narragansett Bay where she returned to continue her career in the maritime industry nearly 5 years ago. From hauling lines and making baggy wrinkle, to working on deck of research vessels at the then Southampton College, she spent almost 9 years on deck and in the engine rooms of private yachts with a majority of her time sailing between south Florida and the Caribbean.
She returned to Houston, TX in 2018 to work for a small company, servicing fire suppression systems onboard mainly LPG, LNG, and container vessels, until finding her niche in maritime operations. For the last several years Jessica has played a pivotal role in developing and maintaining client relationships for bulk, break bulk, project, and most recently offshore wind cargos throughout New England. She is currently a member of WISTA (Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association), ASBA (Association of Ship Brokers and Agents; Event Planning Committee), CMA (Connecticut Maritime Association), the Narragansett Bay & Houston Propeller Clubs, WIMOs (Women in Maritime Operations) and Women Offshore.
