Ship handling notes

All storing is done at owner's risk and assume full liability if pollution incident occurs from stores. Refinery equipment is not available for vessels use. Citgo allows a maximum of three pallets of food and/or one pallet of paint. If stores include drums, chemicals, rope, wire, metal piping and heavy spare parts a launch must be hired. Citgo allows lube trucks on the dock, they must be staggered if more than one truck. Garbage is allowed to be removed by a licensed contractor. Depth of ship channel is 45-00.

Daylight restrictions begin on vessels with

>130,000 DWT and/or >900 ft LOA.

One way restrictions begin on vessels with a combined draft >80 feet or combined beam >251 feet.

**All deep draft vessels of 44 ft will require a tide reading of 1 ft

above mean lower low water prior to entering Aransas Pass Channel.

All deep draft vessels of 45 ft will require a tide reading of 1.8 ft

above mean lower low water prior to entering Aransas Pass Channel.**

Port of Corpus Christi requires that at least 24 hours in advance of delivery of vessel stores or bunkers be provided to the Port Police and Security Department. The advance notification must include:List of stores; Name and driver's license number of the delivery driver; and Vehicle year, make, model and license number. Advance information should be sent by fax to 361-883-8779.
