Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
Weak low pressure tracks south of New England Tuesday brining
rain to the southern waters. Wednesday, a stronger low pressure
moves into the Great Lakes with secondary low pressure developing
over the Mid Atlantic states. This low evolves into a gale center
Wednesday night and then tracks northeast along or near the eastern
MA/NH and ME coastline Thu and Fri.  NE gales and dangerous seas are
likely across the MA waters. The low slowly moves offshore next
weekend.

THURSDAY EVENING...
 
.TODAY...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Patchy fog. Vsby
1 NM or less.
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Gusts up to 20 kt after midnight.
Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.WED...E winds 20 to 25 kt, increasing to 25 to 30 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 ft, building to 6 to 9 ft in the
afternoon. Rain likely in the afternoon.
.WED NIGHT...E winds 30 to 40 kt, increasing to 40 to 45 kt after
midnight. Gusts up to 55 kt. Seas 9 to 13 ft, building to 13 to
17 ft after midnight. Rain. Vsby 1 to 3 NM.
.THU...E winds 35 to 45 kt, diminishing to 25 to 30 kt in the
afternoon. Gusts up to 55 kt. Seas 15 to 20 ft. Rain. Vsby 1 to
3 NM in the morning.
.THU NIGHT...NW winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Seas
11 to 15 ft, subsiding to 9 to 12 ft after midnight. A chance of
rain.
.FRI...W winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 7 to

.FRI NIGHT THROUGH SAT NIGHT...N winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up
to 30 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. A chance of rain.
