Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
Weak low pressure over the Maritimes will support a modest west wind
across the MA/RI waters Thursday, along with mainly dry weather.
Winds become SW Friday, with mainly dry weather continuing. A broad
area of low pressure will impact the New England waters this
weekend, with a modest SW wind and scattered showers and
thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon and early evening
both days. A frontal passage should yield drier weather early next
week, along with light and variable winds.
