Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
Large high pressure over the New England waters will provide dry,
pleasant boating weather with good visibility through Friday.
Although by Friday, large southeast swells will enter the MA and RI
waters from low pressure well south of Nantucket. This low may
intensify into a gale center as it crosses eastern Georges Bank
Saturday and then weakens into the Maritimes Sunday. Meanwhile, a
frontal boundary will move across the MA/RI waters Saturday night
and Sunday, possibly bringing a round of heavy showers and isolated
thunder.
