Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
 
A ridge of high pressure will remain anchored across our waters
today. This high pressure system will move off east of the waters
late Friday as a cold front crosses the region Saturday. This will
be followed by a brief high pressure system for Sunday. This high
pressure system will then move east of the waters on Monday as a
frontal system approaches from the west.

TODAY...S winds around 5 kt, increasing to 5 to 10 kt this
afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Wave Detail: E 3 ft at 10 seconds.
.TONIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 2 to
4 ft. Wave Detail: E 4 ft at 10 seconds and SW 2 ft at 3 seconds.
.FRI...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Wave Detail: SE 3 ft
at 10 seconds and SW 1 foot at 3 seconds.
.FRI NIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Gusts up to 20 kt in the
evening. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: SE 4 ft at 10 seconds and S
1 foot at 3 seconds.
.SAT...W winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming N in the afternoon. Seas 2 to
