Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
 
A cold front moves E of the waters today as high pres builds across
the Midwest through Wed, leading to W-NW flow. Long period easterly
swell will begin to subside tonight. A cold front crosses the waters
Wed night followed by high pres moving from the Gt Lakes Thu to the
mid Atlc region Fri. Another cold front will move across the waters
Sat. High pres moves E of the waters Sun as low pres approaches from
Gt Lakes.

.TODAY...NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Gusts up to 20 kt this morning.
Seas 5 to 7 ft. Wave Detail: E 7 ft at 15 seconds and W 3 ft at
4 seconds.
.TONIGHT...W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 4 to 5 ft. Wave Detail: E
5 ft at 12 seconds and NW 2 ft at 4 seconds.
.WED...W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Wave Detail: E 5 ft at
12 seconds.
.WED NIGHT...W winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming NW 10 to 15 kt with
