Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
Dry and gusty west winds continues today across the waters of
Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Then Thursday, a gale center may
form off the Mid Atlantic coast, but likely tracks out to sea
Friday, southeast of the 40N/70W benchmark. However, north to
northeast winds likely generate rough seas Friday south and east of
Cape Cod and Nantucket. Strong high pressure then builds into the
northeast over the weekend.
Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank
