Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
 
Gale center forms off the Mid Atlantic coast, but likely tracks out
to sea Friday, southeast of the 40N/70W benchmark. However, north to
northeast winds likely generate rough seas Friday south and east of
Cape Cod and Nantucket. Strong high pressure then builds into the
northeast over the weekend..

.TODAY...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas around 2 ft. Wave Detail: N
2 ft at 5 seconds and SE 1 foot at 7 seconds.
.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt, increasing to 20 to 25 kt after
midnight. Seas 2 to 3 ft, building to 3 to 5 ft after midnight.
Wave Detail: NE 2 ft at 4 seconds and S 1 foot at 7 seconds,
becoming E 4 ft at 6 seconds and SE 1 foot at 11 seconds.
.FRI...NE winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 5 to
7 ft. Wave Detail: E 7 ft at 10 seconds and NE 4 ft at 5 seconds.
.FRI NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt,
