Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
Strong high pressure remains over New England through Saturday, then
slides offshore Sunday. Meanwhile, strengthening low pressure cuts
through the OH valley late Sunday, possibly yielding a southerly
gale across the RI/MA waters Sunday night into Monday. As the low
exits into Quebec, its trailing cold front sweeps across New England
later Monday, along with a wind shift to the west.
Weak high pressure builds across the waters next Tuesday, but an
active weather pattern may yield a coastal low the middle of next
week.
