but is short-lived as another frontal system moves into the region

.TODAY...NW winds 20 to 25 kt, increasing to 25 to 30 kt this
afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 ft, building to 5 to 7 ft this afternoon.
Wave Detail: NW 4 ft at 4 seconds and SE 2 ft at 7 seconds,
becoming NW 7 ft at 6 seconds and SE 1 foot at 7 seconds.
.TONIGHT...NW winds 25 to 30 kt, diminishing to around 20 kt
after midnight. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Wave Detail: N 7 ft at 6 seconds
and S 1 foot at 8 seconds. Light freezing spray likely.
.WED...NW winds 15 to 20 kt, diminishing to 10 to 15 kt in the
afternoon. Gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft, subsiding to 2 to
4 ft in the afternoon. Wave Detail: N 5 ft at 6 seconds and S
1 foot at 8 seconds, becoming N 4 ft at 5 seconds and S 1 foot at
8 seconds. Light freezing spray likely in the morning.
.WED NIGHT...W winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming SW after midnight. Seas
2 to 3 ft. Wave Detail: N 2 ft at 5 seconds and SE 1 foot at
11 seconds.
.THU...S winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 2 to
3 ft, building to 3 to 5 ft in the afternoon. Wave Detail: S 3 ft

morning, then rain in the afternoon. Vsby 1 NM or less,
increasing to 1 to 3 NM in the afternoon.

4 to 6 ft. Wave Detail: SE 4 ft at 6 seconds and W 2 ft at
4 seconds. A chance of rain in the evening.
.FRI AND FRI NIGHT...W winds 20 to 25 kt, diminishing to 15 to
20 kt. Gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
.SAT...NW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 3 to
5 ft.
.SAT NIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas
2 to 3 ft. Snow with rain likely. Vsby 1 NM or less.
