Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
A cold front will drop S into northern New Eng late today and this
evening and cross the waters late tonight. High pres builds across
srn Quebec Wed, then a weak low pres along a warm front will
track S of the waters late Wed night into Thu. Weak high pres builds
over the waters Fri, then increasing S flow develops Sat ahead of
strong low pres moving into the Great Lakes.

.TODAY...S winds 10 to 15 kt, increasing to 15 to 20 kt this
afternoon. Gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: S 3 ft
at 4 seconds and NW 1 foot at 3 seconds.
.TONIGHT...S winds 15 to 20 kt, becoming W after midnight. Gusts
up to 30 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: SE 3 ft at 4 seconds
and W 2 ft at 3 seconds.
.WED...N winds 15 to 20 kt, diminishing to 10 to 15 kt in the
afternoon. Gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: N 3 ft
at 5 seconds and SE 2 ft at 9 seconds.
.WED NIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: SE
