North Cargo Pier 2 – Max. draft – 39’06 (Vessels over 650’ restricted to 38’06)
 
A vessel with a draft that does not exceed 38 00″may transit the channels and basins at any time and stage of the tide. Vessels that have a draft in excess of 38’00″are considered “tide jobs” and will be advised by the Harbormaster and Canaveral Pilots of the time of boarding with consideration given to the stage of the tide. These vessels are generally scheduled to begin an inbound transit two hours prior to high tide.  A minimum under keel clearance of 2’6” is required during the transit of the channels and basins. Port Security - All persons doing ship’s business within Port Canaveral must have TWIC prior to be allowed onto any terminal.  Escort required without a TWIC.  Vehicles must have permanent company markings to be allowed onto any terminal.

FUTURE ISSUES:  07/30/24 - Tuesday, July 30: United Launch Alliance USSF-51   Mission: A United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket will launch the secretive USSF-51 mission for the Space Force’s Space Systems Command.

No earlier than July 31: SpaceX Polaris Dawn - Mission: Shift4 founder and entrepreneur Jared Isaacman will once again command a SpaceX Dragon orbital mission. This mission will bring the debut of the SpaceX EVA (extravehicular activity) suit, as well as the first spacewalk by a private company.  Launch window: TBA.  Location: TBA.  Live coverage: Starts two hours before liftoff at floridatoday.com/space.
 
Early August: SpaceX ISS resupply mission - Mission: NASA, Northrop Grumman and SpaceX are targeting early August to launch the Cygnus spacecraft on a resupply mission to the International Space Station.

Active Systems:
The Weather Prediction Center has issued its final advisory on
Post-Tropical Cyclone Beryl, located over southeastern Canada.

1. Off the Southeastern U.S. Coast:
A broad area of low pressure located a few hundred miles off the
southeastern U.S. coast continues to produce disorganized showers
and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions do not appear favorable
for much additional development of this system over the next day or
two before it moves inland over the southeastern U.S. by this
weekend. Regardless of development, heavy rainfall will be possible
for portions of the Carolina coast late this week into the weekend.

products issued by the Weather Prediction Center and your local
National Weather Service office.
