North Cargo Pier 1A – Max. draft – 38’06”
North Cargo Pier 1B – Max. draft – 38’6”  -  max length for tankers at NCP 1B to be capped at 840’ (A good benchmark to use is a BCM of 420’) / 150’ Max Beam / 95,000 MT Max Displacement  
North Cargo Pier 2 – Max. draft – 39’06 (Vessels over 650’ restricted to 38’06)
 
A vessel with a draft that does not exceed 38 00″may transit the channels and basins at any time and stage of the tide. Vessels that have a draft in excess of 38’00″are considered “tide jobs” and will be advised by the Harbormaster and Canaveral Pilots of the time of boarding with consideration given to the stage of the tide. These vessels are generally scheduled to begin an inbound transit two hours prior to high tide.  A minimum under keel clearance of 2’6” is required during the transit of the channels and basins. Port Security - All persons doing ship’s business within Port Canaveral must have TWIC prior to be allowed onto any terminal.  Escort required without a TWIC.  Vehicles must have permanent company markings to be allowed onto any terminal.

CURRENT ISSUES:   07/27/24 -  Saturday, July 27: SpaceX Starlink 10-9 - Mission: A Falcon 9 rocket will launch a batch of 23 Starlink internet satellites from NASA's Kennedy Space Center.  Launch: 12:21 a.m., with backup opportunities available until 4:21 a.m.  Location: pad 39A.  Trajectory: Northeast.  Local sonic boom: No.  Booster landing: Drone ship out in the Atlantic Ocean.  Live coverage: Starts 90 minutes before liftoff at floridatoday.com/space.
 
07/28/24 - Sunday, July 28: SpaceX Starlink 10-4 - SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket fleet was grounded by the Federal Aviation Administration after a July 11 launch from California produced an upper-stage failure that deployed a batch of Starlink satellites into an eccentric orbit. The FAA has approved return to flight, and this mission has not been officially announced — but a FAA operations plan advisory shows this launch window opens early Sunday morning.
 
07/30/24 - Tuesday, July 30: United Launch Alliance USSF-51   Mission: A United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket will launch the secretive USSF-51 mission for the Space Force’s Space Systems Command.
Launch window: TBA  Location: Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.  Live coverage: Starts 90 minutes before liftoff at floridatoday.com/space. 
 
No earlier than July 31: SpaceX Polaris Dawn - Mission: Shift4 founder and entrepreneur Jared Isaacman will once again command a SpaceX Dragon orbital mission. This mission will bring the debut of the SpaceX EVA (extravehicular activity) suit, as well as the first spacewalk by a private company.  Launch window: TBA.  Location: TBA.  Live coverage: Starts two hours before liftoff at floridatoday.com/space.
