North Cargo Pier 1B – Max. draft – 38’6”  -  max length for tankers at NCP 1B to be capped at 840’ (A good benchmark to use is a BCM of 420’) / 150’ Max Beam / 95,000 MT Max Displacement  
North Cargo Pier 2 – Max. draft – 39’06 (Vessels over 650’ restricted to 38’06)
 
A vessel with a draft that does not exceed 38 00″may transit the channels and basins at any time and stage of the tide. Vessels that have a draft in excess of 38’00″are considered “tide jobs” and will be advised by the Harbormaster and Canaveral Pilots of the time of boarding with consideration given to the stage of the tide. These vessels are generally scheduled to begin an inbound transit two hours prior to high tide.  A minimum under keel clearance of 2’6” is required during the transit of the channels and basins. 24 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by Port Authority via Harbor Master and Pilots.
 
Port Security - All persons doing ship’s business within Port Canaveral must have TWIC prior to be allowed onto any terminal.  Escort required without a TWIC.  Vehicles must have permanent company markings to be allowed onto any terminal.

08/23/24 - Friday, August 23: SpaceX Starlink 8-6 - Though SpaceX has yet to announce this mission, a Federal Aviation Administration navigational warning shows a 4½-hour launch window — which indicates a Starlink mission — from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.  Mission: A SpaceX Falcon 9 will launch the next batch of Starlink internet satellites into low-Earth orbit.  aunch window: 3:46-8:16 a.m.  Trajectory: Northeast.  Location: Space Launch Complex 40

08/26/24 - No earlier than August 26: SpaceX Polaris Dawn - Mission: A Falcon 9 will lift Shift4 founder and entrepreneur Jared Isaacman's four-civilian crew on a SpaceX Dragon orbital mission.
