North Cargo Pier 1B – Max. draft – 38’6”  -  max length for tankers at NCP 1B to be capped at 840’ (A good benchmark to use is a BCM of 420’) / 150’ Max Beam / 95,000 MT Max Displacement  
North Cargo Pier 2 – Max. draft – 39’06 (Vessels over 650’ restricted to 38’06)
 
A vessel with a draft that does not exceed 38 00″may transit the channels and basins at any time and stage of the tide. Vessels that have a draft in excess of 38’00″are considered “tide jobs” and will be advised by the Harbormaster and Canaveral Pilots of the time of boarding with consideration given to the stage of the tide. These vessels are generally scheduled to begin an inbound transit two hours prior to high tide.  A minimum under keel clearance of 2’6” is required during the transit of the channels and basins. Port Security - All persons doing ship’s business within Port Canaveral must have TWIC prior to be allowed onto any terminal.  Escort required without a TWIC.  Vehicles must have permanent company markings to be allowed onto any terminal.

09/26/24 - No earlier than Thursday, September 26: SpaceX NASA Crew-9 - The original four members of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-9 mission to the International Space Station pose for a photo during training in Hawthorne, California.
Mission: NASA astronaut Nick Hague (commander) and Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov (mission specialist) — half of the original crew of four — will launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 to the International Space Station for a science expedition. Then in February, Starliner astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams will clamber into the SpaceX Dragon's two empty seats and join them for a return trip back to Earth.  Launch: 2:05 p.m.  Location: Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.  Sonic booms: Yes.  Live coverage: Starts two hours before liftoff at floridatoday.com/space.

10/18/24 – PROPELLER CLUB – GOLF TOURNAMENT - 1st Annual Propeller Club of Port Canaveral Charity Golf Tournament - Join us for the 1st Annual Propeller Club of Port Canaveral Golf Tournament at the picturesque Savannahs Golf Course on Merritt Island.  All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Propeller Club’s Scholarship Fund, supporting local students and their educational pursuits.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

1. Central Subtropical Atlantic (Remnants of Gordon):
An area of showers and thunderstorms located over the central
subtropical Atlantic is associated with the remnants of Gordon. 
Some development of this system is possible while it moves northward
or north-northeastward over the next few days.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...30 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...low...30 percent.

2. Central and Western Subtropical Atlantic:
An area of low pressure located about 750 miles southeast of
Bermuda is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. 
Environmental conditions appear only marginally conducive, but some
development of this system is possible while it meanders over the
open waters of the central or western Subtropical Atlantic though
early next week.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...low...20 percent.

3. Northwestern Caribbean Sea and Southeastern Gulf of Mexico:
A broad area of low pressure could form by early next week over the
northwestern Caribbean Sea.  Thereafter, gradual development of this
system is possible, and a tropical depression could form as the
system moves slowly to the north or northwest over the northwestern
Caribbean Sea and into the southern Gulf of Mexico through the
middle part of next week.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...medium...40 percent.
