.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

High pressure will begin to take over and push the low pressure over the western Gulf more to the east.

As the high takes over, the north wind will diminish later this morning, and the flow will become weak and onshore by the evening.

Onshore flow is expected tonight, and Saturday and it will be weak to moderate.

Any showers will move east out of the offshore waters by this evening.

A weak to moderate onshore flow will persist as we head into the work week.

Winds may vary between the southeast and northeast at times depending on 2 potential cold fronts.

However, there remains a fair amount of uncertainty regarding the timing and strength.

Increased moisture over the waters and a passing upper disturbance will warrant a 20-30% chance of showers and thunderstorms.
