Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves

...along with occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS... Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms can be expected today. 

Some storms may become strong to severe with large hail and damaging winds. 

Rain chances will end from west to east this afternoon and evening. 

Weak to moderate southeast flow this morning will become light and variable by this afternoon and evening as a surface low lifts northeast along the coast. 

A weak to moderate west to northwest flow will develop by Friday as the surface low exits to the northeast. 

Onshore flow returns by the weekend. 

Onshore winds will increase significantly Sunday morning with Small Craft Advisory conditions expected to persist through late Monday morning. 

Conditions are expected to improve by Monday evening.
