Please find attached MSIB 54-24 for a Safety Zone is being requested in the Corpus Christi Ship Channel, between mile markers 55 and 56 between the hours of 2000 and 0600 of the next day, every day.

This safety zone will no longer be scheduled for tonight through the July 12th due to the Hurricane Beryl. We will update you on this work after the storm passes.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

Weak to moderate onshore flow will persist through Sunday morning, gradually increasing throughout the day as Hurricane Beryl approaches. 

While uncertainty is still high on timing and actual track, 

elevated seas up to 13 feet occasionally to 17 feet can be expected late this weekend into early next week with strong winds as Beryl approaches the northeastern Mexico and South Texas coastlines. 

Rain chances will increase Sunday with medium to high chances hanging around through mid to late next week.
