.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

Today will have a weak to moderate north to northeast flow over the South Texas waters.

Winds will gust high enough that small craft should exercise caution in the offshore waters this afternoon.

Swell heights of 1-3 feet along with swell periods of 10-12 seconds are expected Wednesday night through Friday evening.

Swell periods will continue to increase through Wednesday, due to Hurricane Milton, and may cause higher waves.

The good news is that winds will generally be weak under 15 knots through the end of the week which will help keep wave heights under Small Craft

Advisory conditions (under 7 feet). However, due to the increased energy from Hurricane Milton, brief periods of higher waves

Thursday and Friday can't be ruled out which could lead to a brief issuance of a Small Craft Advisory.
