Please find attached MSIB 77-24 as COTP is establishing a worksite in the Corpus Christi Ship Channel, Inner Harbor. Callan Marine dredging in inner harbor between the hours of 2000 and 0600 from 18th September to 15th November for dredging operations.

Please find attached MSIB 79-24 UPDATE 2 as COTP will establish a moving safety zone 500 yards around the LLOG SALMANCA rig in the Brownsville Ship Channel as it is transported from Seatrium AmFELS Facility to sea buoy 11th October 2024 from 0600 to 1800.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

Today will feature weak northeast flow as high pressure remains over the middle Texas coastal waters. 

Tonight, and Friday, the winds will will turn southeast but remain weak as the high shifts slightly to the east. 

Weak to moderate southerly flow is expected through this weekend into early next week with wave heights around 1-2 feet. 

A cold front early next week will shift the winds to the northeast and increase to the 15-20 knot range with seas of 5-6 feet which would result in Small Craft Exercise Caution conditions. 

No precipitation is expected during the long term forecast.
