Please find attached MSIB 88-24 as Captain of the Port has established safety zone in the near shore region of the Hazard Area in the Gulf of Mexico extending to the 12 NM line and all navigable waters of South Bay on 18th November 2024 between 1400 - 1600.

Please find attached MSIB 89-24 as the Captain of the Port is establishing a worksite in the Brownsville Ship Channel. 
Great Lakes Dredge and Dock has informed the U.S. Coast Guard that they will be conducting dredge operations, on November 17, 2024, and November 18, 2024, from 1000 to 1400.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
Strong winds will continue today. Gusts to gale force can be expected this morning. 
Small craft advisories remain in effect through this afternoon. 
A cold front has begun moving through portions of the Brush Country and should reach the coast and area waters this afternoon, shifting winds to the northwest and bringing a chance for showers and a few storms. 
Winds weaken this afternoon and will remain weak to moderate through Tuesday.
Strong northerly flow will develop Tuesday night through Wednesday, with Small Craft Advisory conditions expected once again. 
Winds will diminish Thursday becoming weak onshore Thursday night and Friday.
