.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

Foggy conditions are ongoing across the bays and nearshore waters this morning, with some locations experiencing visibilities to less than 1 mile at times.
A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through noon.
Weak to moderate southwesterly flow will continue through tonight with a low chance of light rain.
Winds on Tuesday will begin to increase out of the north in the wake of a cold front traversing the region, becoming strong to very strong Tuesday night.
At this time, the probability of Gale Force winds Tuesday night have increased and are now as high as 40-90% for the nearshore and 90-95% over the offshore.
Due to such high confidence in the forecast of Gale Force conditions, a Gale WATCH has been issued beginning 21Z Tuesday until 12Z Wednesday for all waters excluding the bays.
Additional Small Craft Advisories will likely be needed from Tuesday through portions of Wednesday.
Winds will diminish to become weak to moderate late Wednesday through the weekend as weak high pressure builds across the region.
