.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
Areas of fog are expected through tonight.
A Marine Dense Fog remains in effect through Noon for the nearshore and bay waters.
The Southeasterly flow will increase today as low pressure develops west of the area, with moderate to strong winds expected to develop by tonight.
A Small Craft Advisory has been issued for the offshore zones tonight through the day on Thursday to account for these increasing winds and seas will also build to 6-7 ft by Thursday.
A cold front will pass through the waters Thursday afternoon, bringing a medium chance (40-60%) of showers and thunderstorms, and a shift to moderate offshore winds.
Moderate offshore flow will become weak to moderate onshore flow Saturday, then persist through the middle of next week.
A low (15- 20%) chance of showers are possible over the waters Tuesday.
