Good Morning,
 
1.Information for the Marine Industry:  Due to the possibility of gale force winds (39-73 mph) associated with Tropical Depression Helene entering Sector Mobile’s area of responsibility within 48 hours, the Captain of the Port (COTP) has ordered Port Status X-RAY for the GIWW between MM 120-376, and the Ports of Mobile,  Pensacola, Panama City, and Port St. Joe. All other ports and the GIWW west of MM 120 remain in Port Condition NORMAL at this time. Current weather forecasts could change within the next 12 hours.
 
2.           Current port and waterway status: 
 
a.           GIWW MM120- MM376                   X-RAY
b.           Port of St. Joe                                       X-RAY
c.           Port of Panama City                          X-RAY
d.           Port of Pensacola                               X-RAY
e.           Port of Mobile                                       X-RAY
f.            Port of Pascagoula                             NORMAL
g.           Port of Gulfport                                    NORMAL
 
3.           Mariners are advised that moveable bridges are operating at the discretion of the bridge operator and may be closed.
