* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, southeast winds around 20
kt with gusts up to 25 kt and seas 5 to 7 ft. For the Gale
Warning, south winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and
seas 6 to 9 ft expected.
* WHERE...Coastal waters from Great Egg Inlet to Cape May NJ out
20 nm, Coastal waters from Cape May NJ to Cape Henlopen DE out
20 nm and Coastal waters from Cape Henlopen to Fenwick Island
DE out 20 nm.
* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 6 AM EDT early this
morning. For the Gale Warning, until 2 AM EDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK
ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...
The remnants of Tropical Storm Debby will track northward near
our area today into tonight as it merges with a front which
will shift offshore Saturday. High pressure begins to build in
thereafter, holding influence over the region into the beginning
of next week.

TODAY
S winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt, increasing
to 25 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt late. Seas 6 to 9 ft. Wave
Detail: E 8 ft at 7 seconds. Isolated showers and tstms this
morning, then scattered showers and tstms this afternoon.
TONIGHT
S winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt, becoming
SW 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt after midnight. Seas 5 to
8 ft. Wave Detail: S 8 ft at 8 seconds. Widespread showers and
scattered tstms, mainly in the evening. Vsby 1 to 3 NM after
midnight.
