Maintenance Dredging
Dredging will be conducted in Marcus Hook Range and Marcus Hook Anchorage (No. 7) on the Delaware River from November 11, 2024, through approximately March 15, 2025.
Vessels desiring to anchor within Marcus Hook Anchorage must obtain permission from the COTP at least 24 hours in advance, at (215) 271-4807. The COTP will permit one vessel at a time on a “first come, first served” basis in the lower portion of the anchorage, with preference given to those vessels greater than 650’ in overall length.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.
 
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southwest winds will shift to northwest
  following a cold front Tuesday. Gusty conditions will continue
  through Tuesday night.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
 
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK
Low pressure over the Great Lakes will track east into southern
Quebec as a cold front sweeps across the Mid-Atlantic later today.
High pressure builds in briefly tonight and Wednesday. Another low
pressure system will take aim at the area on Thanksgiving Day
bringing another round of precipitation. High pressure then returns
for Friday into the beginning of next week.
