FEDERAL, STATE & LOCAL FILING REQUIREMENTS
96 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by USCG
72 Hours - The Harbormasters office requires a 72 hour minimum notice of a vessel arrival. Any time less than 72 hours will be considered short notice and could result in vessel's delay to berth.
48 Hours - advance receipt of crew list by Immigration for any vessel arriving from a foreign port, or arriving coast wise with detained crew.
24 Hours (minimum) - Foreign cargo must have manifest submitted to Customs & Border Patrol AMS.
24 Hours - advance fax of crew list and approved visitors required by Port Security Officer.
Port Security - All persons doing ship’s business within Port Manatee must have TWIC and a Port-issued ID Badge. Someone not having one or both must be escorted. Vehicles must have permanent company markings to be allowed onto any terminal.

CURRENT ISSUES: 34-24 PCIB Port Condition IV (with restrictions) Update 5 - Hurricane MILTON
Summary: Following HURRICANE MILTON, the Captain of the Port is closely coordinating with all Port Partners and Industry Stakeholders to respond to, and assess discrepant Aids to Navigation (ATON), waterway conditions, and re-establish the Marine Transportation System (MTS). Maritime professionals and Agents thereof are highly encouraged to confirm berths are ready for receipt of vessels, as well as coordinate with the Cooperative Vessel Traffic Service (CVTS) and Tampa Bay Pilots regarding specific and detailed restrictions for vessel operations (i.e. Cruise Schedules, dusk transits, one-way traffic, in-port shifts).
Port Condition IV remains in effect for the ports of Tampa, St. Petersburg, Seaport Manatee as of October 17, 2024, at 1300 (1:00 p.m.) with the following restrictions:
• Ports Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Seaport Manatee:
o Vessels are restricted to daylight hours only with minimum visibility of 3nm, for Old Tampa Bay, Point Pinellas Channel, and Seaport Manatee.
• Port Ft. Myers: is Open with no restrictions.

Hurricane Alert: 4/SEASONAL – NO TROPICAL FORCE WINDS EXPECTED WITHIN 48 HOURS
200 PM EDT Thu Oct 17 2024 - or the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. East of the Leeward Islands (AL94): Showers and thunderstorms associated with a trough of low pressure located a couple of hundred miles east of the Leeward Islands remain disorganized. Some slow development is possible during the next couple of days as the disturbance moves quickly westward to west-northwestward around 20 mph, passing near the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico on Friday, then near Hispaniola and the southeastern Bahamas on Saturday. Strong upper-level winds should end the chances of development by late in the weekend. The Air Force Hurricane Hunters are currently investigating the system.

2. Western Caribbean Sea: Showers and thunderstorms over the western Caribbean Sea are associated with a broad area of low pressure. Gradual development of this system is possible over the next couple of days before it
moves inland over Central America. Regardless of development, locally heavy rainfall is likely across portions of Central America and southern Mexico through the weekend.
