VESSEL TRAFFIC SERVICE HOUSTON/GALVESTON DIRECTS NO VESSEL MOVEMENTS ON THE HOUSTON SHIP CHANNEL BETWEEN HOUSTON SHIP CHANNEL LIGHTS 66 and 68 FROM 1200-1600 HOURS, LOCAL TIME, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 08TH, 2025 DUE TO DREDGE PIPELINE OPERATIONS.
HOUSTON SHIP CHANNEL LIGHT 68 IS LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 4 NAUTICAL MILES SOUTHEAST OF THE BAYPORT FLARE.
VESSELS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO STOP OR PUSH IN ALONG THE HOUSTON SHIP CHANNEL DURING THE CLOSURE.
THE VB10000 WILL BE ON A DRYDOCK MOVEMENT FROM SEA TO GULF COPPER GALVESTON FROM 1330-1730 (LOCAL) WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8TH, 2025.
VESSEL TRAFFIC SERVICE HOUSTON/GALVESTON DIRECTS NO MEETING OR OVERTAKING OF THE VB10000 WITHIN THE MAIN CHANNEL DURING THE TRANSIT.

USCG HOUSTON COC INSPECTIONS
USCG Sector Houston will no longer accept COC exam requests seeking a date more than 10 calendar days in advance. Additionally, SHG will normally not accept new requests made less than 24 hours advance.
OFF-SIGNERS:
CBP Houston does not permit off-signers to stay in hotel to await their flights home. They must go direct for vessel to IAH for their flights.
Valid C1-D USA visa is required for all off-signers by CBP Houston, on very rare occasions will exception be made by CBP Houston.
