Below information from this morning’s PCT call provided courtesy of WGMA.

The MSU Port Arthur held a Port Coordination Team (PCT) conference call this morning at 1000 hours to update all concerned about the situation with the dense fog and its effects on vessel/ship traffic in Sabine-Neches Waterway.
 
National Weather Service:
·     Not much change from yesterday
·     Still seeing significant visibility reduction offshore and at Sabine Pass
·     Probably mid-afternoon clearing
·     Sock back in quickly after sunset
·     Cold front moving into the area tonight
·     Winds from the northwest with frontal passage; cooler & drier air
·     Monday evening, winds moving back to southerly flow
·     Monday night into Tuesday, fog returns
 
Sabine Pilots:
·     Were able to move ships yesterday until the fog socked back in
·     Starting a wave of outbound ships at 11:30AM
·     Currently they have 22 arrivals & 20 sailings pending
 
Another PCT conference call has been scheduled for 1000 hours tomorrow Monday, February 10th, to provide updates on this situation.
