96 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by USCG
72 Hours - The Harbormasters office requires a 72 hour minimum notice of a vessel arrival. Any time less than 72 hours will be considered short notice and could result in vessel's delay to berth.
48 Hours - advance receipt of crew list by Immigration for any vessel arriving from a foreign port, or arriving coast wise with detained crew.
24 Hours (minimum) - Foreign cargo must have manifest submitted to Customs & Border Patrol AMS.
24 Hours - advance fax of crew list and approved visitors required by Port Security Officer.
72 Hours - post port call, the Port Authority requires bill of lading figures for all bulk cargo.
Port Security - All persons doing ship’s business within the Port of Tampa must have TWIC and a Port-issued ID badge. Anyone not having one or both, will need to be escorted. Vehicles must have permanent company markings to be allowed onto any terminal.

CURRENT ISSUES: 09/25/24 – 0800-1100 -Please be advised that the Port Tampa Bay Security Department is planning to conduct a waterside security barriers deployment across the channel between Port Sutton Road, CEMEX facility (berth #03) and Pendola Point Road, Plains LPG Services facility (berth #030) scheduled on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024, from 0800 – 1100 hours.

1. Central Subtropical Atlantic (Remnants of Gordon):
Showers and thunderstorms remain disorganized over the central
tropical Atlantic in association with the remnants of Gordon. This
system is forecast to interact with a non-tropical low to its
northwest while moving north-northeastward at 5 to 10 mph during the
next couple of days. Environmental conditions could become more
conducive for development later this week, and a tropical depression
or storm could re-form in a few days while the system moves slowly
northward over the central subtropical Atlantic.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...30 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...medium...60 percent.

Mexico.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...low...20 percent.
A broad area of low pressure could form late this weekend or early
next week over the northwestern Caribbean Sea. Thereafter, some
slow development of this system is possible through the middle
of next week while it moves slowly to the north or northwest
over the northwestern Caribbean Sea or the southeastern Gulf of
