96 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by USCG
72 Hours - The Harbormasters office requires a 72 hour minimum notice of a vessel arrival. Any time less than 72 hours will be considered short notice and could result in vessel's delay to berth.
48 Hours - advance receipt of crew list by Immigration for any vessel arriving from a foreign port, or arriving coast wise with detained crew.
24 Hours (minimum) - Foreign cargo must have manifest submitted to Customs & Border Patrol AMS.
24 Hours - advance fax of crew list and approved visitors required by Port Security Officer.
72 Hours - post port call, the Port Authority requires bill of lading figures for all bulk cargo.
Port Security - All persons doing ship’s business within the Port of Tampa must have TWIC and a Port-issued ID badge.  Anyone not having one or both, will need to be escorted.  Vehicles must have permanent company markings to be allowed onto any terminal.

11/19/24 – TAMPA PORT AUTHORITY - November 19, 2024: Port Tampa Bay Board Meeting- Nov 19 2024 09:30 AM - 11:30 AM - The regular business meeting of the Tampa Port Authority, d/b/a Port Tampa Bay, Board of Commissioners meeting will be held in person at PORT TAMPA BAY'S JOSEPH GARCIA INTERNATIONAL CENTER (1101 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL 33602).  Anyone who wishes to speak during the meeting may do so by signing the Public Comments sign-in sheet that will be provided near the entrance of the Boardroom on the meeting day. The Chair will call on speakers by name in the order in which they have completed Public Comments Sign-In sheet. Up to three (3) minutes are allowed for each speaker.    A copy of the current agenda and supporting documents are posted approximately seven days before the Board meeting on the PTB website:  https://meetings.boardbook.org/Public/Organization/1448. For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
 
1. Central and Western Caribbean Sea:
Disorganized showers and thunderstorms over the central Caribbean
Sea are associated with a broad area of low pressure. 
Environmental conditions appear conducive for development, and a
tropical depression is likely to form within the next two to three
days while the system moves slowly westward into the western
Caribbean Sea.  Afterward, further development is likely while the
disturbance meanders over the western Caribbean Sea through the
weekend.  The system is forecast begin moving slowly northwestward
by early next week.  Interests across the western and northwestern
Caribbean Sea should monitor the progress of this system.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...60 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...high...90 percent.
