NYC - CLOSURES FOR PARADE OF SHIPS - 22 MAY 2024

Ambrose channel will be closed as follows:
•Inbound: 0500 (last inbound tug/barge or deep draft) until approx. 0930.
•Outbound: 0530 (last outbound tug/barge or deep draft) until approx. 1130.
Upper Bay/Hudson River:
The 500yd Naval Vessel Protection Zone (NVPZ) will be in place as the Parade of Ships transits the Upper Bay/Hudson River from approx. 0900-1130. All vessel traffic should keep to the west of the parade column.
Several ships will transit the Upper Bay after the parade has concluded until approx. 1300; the standard 500yd NVPZ will apply.
Ferries that need to pass through the parade should contact VTS on Channel 13/14 or via phone, VTS will arrange for passing directly with the Patrol Commander.
