PLEASE NOTE TAMPA/SEAPORT MANATEE ARE IN CONDITION X-RAY – ALL VESSELS MUST MAKE PREPERATIONS TO DEPART IF/WHEN YANKEE IS ANNOUNCED.  VESSELS WANTING TO REMAIN IN PORT, MUST SEND A REQUEST TO USCG.
 
Due to the possibility of gale force winds (34-47 knots) entering the Tampa Bay area within 48 hours, the Captain of the Port (COTP) is ordering Port Condition X-RAY for the ports of Tampa, St. Petersburg, Manatee, and Ft. Myers effective on September 23, 2024 at 1230 (12:30 p.m.). A system of low pressure located near the Yucatan Channel continues to gradually become better organized. The COTP will continue to evaluate weather predictions.
