Good Morning

The dredge that will be used for construction of the saltwater barrier is currently enroute to the job site.  The dredge is expected to arrive tomorrow morning and will begin dredging the burrow area on Wednesday Morning weather permitting.

Retrieval of the equipment from Point Celeste Anchorage has been completed and the anchorage can be used.

Besides the weather, all other plans for the barrier remain unchanged.  The initial construction will be to a height of 55 feet below the waterline and the only anticipated restrictions to navigation will be one way traffic through the area.  If additional height is needed, a notch in the barrier will be provided for passage of deep draft vessels.
