MSIB 56-24 POST STORM HELENE WATERWAY STATUS UPDATE CAPTAIN OF THE PORT MOBILE AREA OF OPERATIONS  has been released and is effective immediately. 
 
 
 
Information for the Marine Industry: MSIB 53-24 is superseded. The COTP Mobile has updated the waterway status as noted below. The daylight only restriction is removed at St. Marks. Mariners are advised that the draft restriction remains in effect at the Port of Panama City.

This is the final waterway status update regarding Post Storm Helene within the COTP Mobile area of operations.  
 
It is recommended that all waterway users continue to monitor the Broadcast Notice to Mariners (BNM) and review Local Notice to Mariner (LNM) messages to increase navigational safety. The most current LNM messages can be found at https://www.navcen.uscg.gov/local-notices-to-mariners-by-cg-district
