Houston Ship Channels remains closed to deep draft ships at present time.
 
Search and salvage operations are ongoing. Hopefully, the tug will be removed from the channel this evening, pm/20th. Light-draft sailings (less than 30’) could commence later today as well. Deep draft transits are dependent on channel assessments by USCG and USACE post-removal, ideally am/21st but to be confirmed.
 
We will continue to provide updates as information becomes available.
