Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
Today, high pressure moves offshore, a stationary boundary develops
this evening into Saturday, extending from west to east from Albany,
NY to Provincetown, MA. This provides unsettled weather tonight
through this coming weekend. Early Monday a strong cold front
approaches from the west, crossing the waters Monday evening, then
exits east the waters early Tuesday morning. High pressure briefly
returns for Wednesday.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...
.TODAY...W winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt, diminishing
to 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt this afternoon. Seas 2 to
4 ft. Wave Detail: W 4 ft at 4 seconds and E 2 ft at 8 seconds.
.TONIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming E 10 to 15 kt with gusts
up to 20 kt after midnight. Seas around 2 ft. Wave Detail: SW
2 ft at 4 seconds and SE 2 ft at 7 seconds. Showers likely after
midnight with vsby 1 to 3 NM.
.SAT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 2 to
4 ft. Wave Detail: NE 4 ft at 5 seconds and W 1 foot at
3 seconds. A chance of showers. Vsby 1 to 3 NM.
.SAT NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas
