Waves of low pressure will track south of New Eng through tonight. A
strong cold front will cross the waters early Tue followed by near
gale force W winds. High pres builds over the waters Wed and moves
offshore Thu. A slow moving low pres will approach New Eng from the
south Fri into Sat.

NIGHT...
 
.TODAY...NE winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 2 to
4 ft. Wave Detail: NE 3 ft at 4 seconds and SE 3 ft at 8 seconds.
Rain. Patchy fog this afternoon with vsby 1 to 3 NM.
.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Gusts up to 20 kt in the
evening. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: E 3 ft at 5 seconds and SE
2 ft at 8 seconds. Patchy fog. A chance of rain. Vsby 1 NM or
less, increasing to 1 to 3 NM after midnight.
.TUE...W winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 25 kt, increasing to
20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt in the afternoon. Seas 4 to
6 ft. Wave Detail: W 4 ft at 4 seconds and SE 3 ft at 7 seconds.
.TUE NIGHT...W winds 25 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt,
diminishing to 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt after midnight.
Seas 5 to 8 ft. Wave Detail: W 6 ft at 5 seconds and E 2 ft at
7 seconds.
.WED...W winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 4 to
6 ft. Wave Detail: W 5 ft at 5 seconds and E 1 foot at 8 seconds.
.WED NIGHT...W winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas
2 to 3 ft. Wave Detail: W 3 ft at 4 seconds and SE 1 foot at
9 seconds.
.THU...S winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 2 to
3 ft.
.THU NIGHT AND FRI...SE winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt.
Seas 2 to 4 ft. A chance of showers.
.FRI NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas
3 to 5 ft. Showers likely. Vsby 1 to 3 NM.
 
Seas are reported as significant wave height, which is the
average of the highest third of the waves. Individual wave
heights may be more than twice the significant wave height.
