Please join us in congratulating both Rob LeClair and Daniel Van Duzer on their promotions to Executive Vice President and Douglas Crandall on his promotion to Senior Vice President here at Moran! Rob will be focusing on sales and compliance with the goal of engaging new clients and exploring new opportunities for Moran. As an operations expert, Dan will oversee client satisfaction for a broad base of US and international clients while ensuring Moran provides superior customer service. Doug will manage the financial, administrative, and human resource functions at Moran ensuring compliance, efficiency, and profitability.

Rob joined Moran soon after graduating from Georgetown University with his Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing. He quickly earned his U.S. Customs Broker’s license before moving to Houston to manage our Customs Brokerage and freight forwarding operations. He left for a time to establish two successful businesses, but Rob’s passion for the maritime industry never wavered and we welcomed him back into the Moran family with open arms.

Dan received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and has been with Moran for over twenty years. As a trusted leader, he brings with him a depth of experience in the global maritime oil and liquid cargo transportation industry. Dan formerly launched and headed the Moran Office of Maritime and Port Security, which became a successful and critical offering in Moran’s portfolio of expertise. Dan has supported Moran in a number of roles throughout his career, including as a Vessel Agent in Houston, General Manager in Houston and New Jersey, Vice President in Philadelphia, Senior Vice President in Houston, and now as Executive Vice President.

Doug started his career with Moran twenty years ago as a Voyage Accountant and has since held various roles spanning accounting, finance, information technology, and human resources. Doug has always been committed to best supporting Moran’s employees. Moran has recently expanded into the offshore wind sector, where Doug has been supervising all financial and accounting operations. Doug is an alumnus of Johnson & Wales University Providence campus where he earned an MBA in Global Business Leadership and Organizational Leadership. He also holds Bachelor’s and Associate Degrees from Johnson & Wales University in Management and Human Resources. Doug serves on Moran’s Board of Directors as Treasurer.
